Dan Monceaux wins Panasonic Lumix FT3 camera with underwater footage of sealions & dolphins

Dan Monceaux won a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT3 waterproof, rugged camera in a competition held by Panasonic Australia in July 2011. Australian photographers and videographers were invited to submit a photograph or video demonstrating adventure, shot with any camera from the Lumix line. The competition judges selected one winner and one runner-up each week, for a month. Dan was awarded in round 3 with his video entry shot underwater with a Lumix FT1 camera. His entry was shot in 720p resolution and featured heart-warming close encounter footage swimming with Australian Sea Lions and dolphin while snorkelling in Baird Bay, South Australia. Baird Bay is a wonderful eco-tourism destination for lovers of the sea and the life it supports. You can see more of Dan Monceaux and Emma Sterling's nature documentary work at naturescopephotography.com and in their forthcoming film 'Cuttlefish Country' which is due for completion in October 2011.
